The Special Issue on “Plastic Contamination: Challenges and Solutions” focus on addressing all aspects of plastics. 

 

The Lüneburg start-up company RITTEC Umwelttechnik is one of the nine finalists of the Next Economy Award 2021, which is awarded as part of the German Sustainability Award and is a high distinction for "green founders" - the nomination from 140 applications alone is a great success for the Lüneburg start-up.

Within the framework of the recently published plastic strategy of the European Union general public, business associations, companies, researchers and experts, NGOs, international organisations and institutions, fishermen and fisheries organisations are invited to take part in the consultation regarding marine litter till the 12th of February.
At the kick-off conference of the BMBF research programme "Plastic in the Environment – Sources • Sinks • Solutions“, posters were displayed that graphically illustrate and summarise the research projects in a concise way. These posters can be downloaded here.
